Designers Guild is a family-owned business established by Tricia Guild in 1970 to design and wholesale bed and bath accessories, furnishing and upholstery fabrics, as well as wallcoverings worldwide. The brand is led by Tricia, as the creative director, and her brother Simon Jeffreys, as chief executive, under their business philosophy of combining creativity, innovation, and high quality in all their processes and products.
As an environmentally-conscious company, Designers Guild enforces policies that can contribute to a better world, while making sure of the well-being of suppliers, employees, and customers, through ethical business practices. Most of the brand’s collections, particularly fabrics and papers, are made from natural fibers and are recyclable. They have also introduced a fully upcycled cotton yarn which utilizes no hydrocarbons in the manufacture, a first in the industry.
The Designers Guild’s features almost 9,000 fabrics and 2,000 wallpapers including printed designs like checks, florals, geometrics, jacquards, plains, and stripes, that are featured in silks, tapestries, trimmings, and velvets.
