Sahco was established in Germany in 1831 with the goal of commercializing textiles. The company started as an importer of carpets, silks and upholstery fabrics from France and the Far East. Over time the brand started to be recognized as a premier provider of fine fabrics for interior design projects and became well-known thanks to its headquarters in Nuremberg and its showrooms in London, Milan, Munich, and Paris. In May 2018, Sahco was acquired by Kvadrat, one of Denmark’s most recognized textile companies and was able to combine two rich design traditions with a creative team that is able to compose products for an international clientele.
